It’s Time For Launch

I’m excited to say  it’s that time of year again and P&O and Cunard are launching their  Winter 2019/2020 sailings.

I know many people would think this is way to far in advance to be even be thinking about a cruise never mind booking a cruise however, there are some fantastic benefits in doing so.

So why book so far in advance?

There are many reasons passengers book at launch as it gives them many additional benefits.You can get past passenger discounts, book the cabin number of your choice, have a choice of dining time, as well as  choice of on board credit, Free car parking at Southampton or Free coach transfers to Southampton (applicable to selected sailings) as well as low deposits to secure your cruise. It certainly is worth seriously considering booking in advance as it could save you pounds.

I would recommend booking in advance for families to get the best options of cabins that will accommodate all passengers at the best possible price. Many cruise lines also limit the number of children travelling on any one particular cruise therefore its important to get booked early to ensure you don’t miss out.

To avoid disappointment, it’s best to book early if you are planning to travel as part of a group or large family, especially during peak dates such as school holidays. Booking in advance means you can secure cabins close together and also secure the same dining for everyone. The last thing you would want to do when travelling in a group would be to dine alone.
