Is It Right For You ?

There are so many fantastic deals around at the moment it can be confusing to decide which one to go for. Whether it be free drinks packages, free on board spend , free coach or car parking or one of the amazing reduced price cabin deals, it is really important to take a moment to decide which offer is really right for you.

So many questions  get asked about guaranteed cabins, this week alone I’ve spoken to many customers looking for a great deal, however one person’s great deal could be another person’s nightmare!

Here are the main points to think about when you are  considering a guaranteed cabin. The prices are generally much lower which of course is attractive – why would you want to pay more than you need right ?

You get to choose the type of cabin whether it be inside, outside or balcony. The location, bed configuration, cabin number and view (whether clear or obstructed if in an ocean view or above) is allocated purely by the cruise line. If travelling in a group, you may be on different decks as no requests can be made or considered.

There are restrictions on dining times too. Many cruise lines don’t give the option to select your preferred dining time and will generally be given a set time to dine once on board. This may not be a great deal to many, however it is worth thinking about when travelling with friends or family as you may not be allocated the same dining time and end up dining alone.

Generally the guaranteed cabin option doesn’t include on board credit or free shuttle transfers in port , however the difference in price from the brochure fare could save you ££££’s So there you have it. If you prefer to know exactly where you cabin is located and would want to know dining time before you travel, then a guaranteed cabin maybe not suitable for you. However if you are not bothered on location and happy to take whatever dining time is given, take a look at the offers as it may be exactly what you are looking for.
