Waiting for a deal? …. is it really worth it ?…..

There are many people that like to ‘book early’ .. think ahead for their travel plans , whether it be their dream holiday or a regular trip they make each and every year.

When I started in travel many years ago , I used to think when people booked so far in advance .. why ? Why would you come back and pay for something you have to wait for so long for. Over the years I came to realize that  these were the people who had a guaranteed holiday , a planned and paid for trip. Some of my customers had 2 or 3 breaks , because of planning.

During the summer months within the travel industry there are a lot of latecomers , that are looking for ‘a bargain’.  Are the late deals still around ? Do not get me wrong I am not saying the late deal have become extinct, but I feel if you have a specific idea of what you want it pays to book early.

I am one of the guilty ones who leave things until so late that I end up paying the price , some of the late deals I see are truly a bargain, however they do not always fit in with my schedule/family/leave.. so I can just do what I do best and that is tell others about the deals they should not miss !

Cruising is massively on the increase and  not only is there fantastic deals but the Cruise Lines launch their release dates  so far in advance , it is really easy to have something booked with just a deposit and many months to pay.
