Shining bright like a diamond….

I was lucky enough to cruise with MSC on the Splendida, I had cruised once before with MSC quite a few years ago, but this time I felt it was a different experience. I cannot fault (and didn’t fault) the first time the elegance and beauty of the interior, but this time I felt what I can only describe as progress.

Why? … I personally love being away with a mix of nationalities but years ago it felt more detached and separated.

This time felt completely different, a mix of nationalities on board that in my eyes felt like one. The Food (my favourite part!…. I didn’t get this ‘healthy figure’ for being a fussy eater!!) didn’t disappoint . The drinks were great, I was on an All Inclusive package which is highly recommended .. great value and saves a lot of time and more importantly money!!

The bars and restaurants on board all offered a fantastic variety of options, a must is to visit the La Piazzeta, with its ice cream parlour , pastry and chocolate shop it is perfect for you sweet tooth’s out there.  They even had demonstrations throughout the afternoons to watch the deserts being made and if you were one of the lucky ones you got to try the finished masterpiece!!

As I had mentioned before I was always impressed by the elegant decor, a true Italian feel, classic and extravagant . They say diamonds are a girls best friend and this couldn’t be faulted when I laid eyes on the swarovski staircase, it was super impressive.

I attended a seminar on board to showcase their new ships MSC Meraviglia / MSC Seaside , this definitely got my attention as I love the larger ships and I am looking forward to booking them in the future for my own holiday. They will be taking entertainment to a whole new ‘sea’ level ! with the exclusive partnership with Cirque du Soleil performing original shows 6 nights a week. The Polar aquapark, F1 simulators, bowling Alley and Sportplex are just some of the things we can look forward to seeing.

MSC offers great value for money , for everyone. I have noticed in the recent months that booking early is a must as the fleet grows and offers more to the ever increasing cruising audience.

With more yet to come , MSC definitely earns its stripes . Perfect for couples , singles and fantastic family deals throughout the year , MSC is more than worth a try.
