Even the mini breaks are worth it….

Hi, only last week I was lucky enough to get a few days away with my family.

It was a five day break that quickly became 4 after the sad news that Monarch was no longer operating came by text just minutes before my taxi was due to take me to the airport.  We quickly re booked for a late flight that evening and I managed to get a little more work done before I left… always a bonus for me as hard to switch off !

Only a short flight to Malaga with Norwegian Air , who I have flown with once before and they were once again fantastic , great service and a pleasant experience after a very long day.

Waking up the next morning with the bright sunshine beaming was amazing , it has been quite a while since i had been away and because the 4 of us are workaholics its always hard to pin us all down at the same time.  A few people had said to me before I left ..’just Monday – Friday .? that is just not enough’… well yes it had been a day shorter and yes it was only a short break in the first place, but it was just what the doctor ordered , as they say !

I personally love many short breaks rather than one long duration and even though it may hardly seem worth it , just getting away from the usual surroundings is perfect for a mini wind down.

Also I feel because time is limited you can cram so much into make the best of your time .. there are so many fantastic short land & sea breaks available so they are always worth a check, even the briefest rays of sunshine can be the perfect tonic!
