A new addition to an old favourite

Cunard have announced they will be adding a fourth ship to their fleet.

The announcement comes in the 50th anniversary year of the QE2.

The agreement is now signed that the new ship will come in to service in 2022.  The ship will carry 3000 guests.

Cunard have the Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and the Queen Elizabeth and having a fourth member added to her fleet will be a great step in the direction that many other cruise lines are taking adding a refreshed new concept to the fleet.

The Cunard luxury brand is a well known favourite and moving forward this will be an exciting addition. I have been on the Queen Mary 2 for a day visit to see the ship and have a lunch. It was before her refurb . I remember on route to Southampton , I was looking forward to seeing her but didn’t expect I would feel the way I did.  I was so impressed and felt the luxury and tradition. I remember leaving  feeling very excited about the day I had experienced and wanting to experience Cunard myself on a cruise as well as recommend to others.

Although I haven’t got round to it yet ( only because of other new ships getting in the way!!) I am really looking forward to watching the space for all the new info on her.. No name yet , I wonder who the 4th Queen in the fleet will be ?
