2017 ..with its ups & downs, It’s really sailed by!!!

Cannot believe we are on the final run up to Christmas and then soon after all the eating and drinking we let in the new year !! It has been a challenging year in travel with the various weather conditions that sadly affected many people and some really beautiful places.

Monarch were the latest airline to go which I felt particularly sad about as I had 7 happy years working for Monarch many years ago and really did believe they may have come through their difficulties.

I left my role at Thomas Cook where I had worked for 14 years in April of this year and began my new chapter at Cruise.co.uk. which I can now say was the best move for me and I am happy to start the new year increasing my knowledge and working as devoted and focused as always.

From my customers that have been loyal to me and know me from the years of working with me, to my new customers ,  I endeavor to work with as much passion and commitment as I do year on year.

What I have noticed more of is people booking a lot further in advance, I have more and more people asking me about 2019/2020 !!! .. and while there was once a time I would think that was way too far in advance, I can now see the positive points and how it is a benefit to some.

I am looking forward to 2018 , always feel happy working but really want to have different experiences and make the most of next year before that too sails by !!
