World Cruise for the Winter?

This week has been crazy busy in the office with the new P&O Launch about to go out to our vast database we have been flooded with Pre registrations for folks looking to get away from it all in the Winter time on early bookings for World cruises.

Cruise & Maritime have a very exciting new proposal following last weeks world cruise buy 1 get one free launch on the brand new Columbus ship.

By far the most popular however certainly for my loyal database has been the Fred Olsen Black Watch 107 Nights from October to end of February. this exciting prospect is exactly what you need to say good buy to the cruel harsh British winter.

A customer I spoke to today said she had a £20,000 budget for herself as a solo traveler and she wanted to read books and learn or pick up a new hobby to focus on whilst she embarks on a bucket list cruise to go all over. she was particularly keen about the Suez and Panama canal’s as well as Easter Island and Bora Bora in the south pacific.

There is little doubt that World cruises are extremely popular among st our wealthy retired passengers as well as more and more inquiries for solo passengers.

Do you think this would be the right kind of cruise for you or would you get a little board or cabin fever on a ship for well over 3 months.

I love cruising and I was so excited reading her the itinerary it must have taken about ten minutes just reading it out.

There is no doubt that you need to factor in the costs you would spend at home for 3 months on food heating etc…

Can you even arrange a short let of your property as part of a festive House rental its certainly done in London and could make a World cruise a much more cost effective way of putting an end to Winter.

Although it might not impress your boss.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
