Why Jane McDonald showed me the light

This week I have been catching up on some Tv as the weather hasn’t been up to much. As I never fully get enough of my cruise travel fix during the day I decided to watch back to back episodes of cruising with Jane McDonald.

I must admit I didn’t know if it would be worth a watch but I must say I think its one of the finest travel program’s I have seen on TV in years.

Jane refers to Wakefield a lot and compares every where she travels to her home town, but I feel her personality and her excitement from cruising and travel really shines through.

I would recommend any of our customers considering a cruise to catch up on Jane’s series as it gives you some incredible insights on which cruise lines are best suited as well as all the little extra’s you get from cruise line to cruise line.

Its spot on for excursions, and what I really liked was the emotion of the program as travel is about being wowed, sometimes we get emotional, in Orr of the things we see along the way. sometimes its those touching moments from a tainted history other times its getting goose bumps at the site of a huge glacier in Alaska or seeing the Northern Lights.

This week I saw close up the decadence and opulence of the Maria Tarasa by Uni world River cruise on the Danube River, A Viking Sky cruise around the Baltic’s and the Brand new MSC Meraviglia 7 nights around Europe offered some incredible insights into The new production of cirque du Soliel.

I was really surprised to learn there is an escorted excursion from Genoa to Portoifino which is a gem that I didn’t realize you could visit from Genoa.

If you have watched this cruise travel program recently I would love to hear your thoughts.
