A Sling to Singapore

I must be the luckiest little bee in the world this year. First my amazing company sent me on an Azamara cruise taking in Monaco, Florence, Pisa and Rome and this week I found out I would be jetting off to trial one of the new pre or post cruise extension tours we will soon be offering to you love people. To say I am excited would be an understatement!!

We are hoping to offer the extensions in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo each packing in as much of the ‘must see’ tourist sights as well as free time at leisure in case there are things not included that clients would like to see. I have been selected to try out the Singapore option. Iv not been to Singapore so I’m looking forward to seeing the sights and being able to come home and tell my clients all about it.

I will be leaving the UK at the end of October and visiting several different hotels, trying them all out and seeing which ones we feel are best suited to our clients needs. Whilst in Singapore we will get some free time to explore and discover what there is to do and how you can do it most effectively cost wise and comfortably.

Myself and a colleague will be taking an escorted tour that will take in the history of The Little Red Dot which is what Singapore is lovingly referred to by many and see how it transformed from a sleep fishing village into the metropolitan power house that it is today. We’ll start ur adventure by hopping on a traditional Bumboat and set sail across the watery stretch to Merlion Park, home to a magnificent statue and water fountain shaped as the mythical creature. We’ll visit the beautiful Marina Bay waterfront before heading to the Civic District.

We will also visit Thian Hock Keng Temple before heading to Chinatown. Next we’ll explore the National Orchid Garden which can be found within Singapore’s Botanic Gardens which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants. Our final stop will be Little India and a lunch at a local Chinese restaurant.

We aim to use our free days visiting more sights that we think our clients would like to see, we’ll be taking lots of photos, videos and writing reports so its not all fun and games but I’ll be writing a blog on the experience and giving you all the need to know info on what you MUST do whilst in Singapore.

I cant wait to tell you all about my trip, so watch this space.
