NO ‘ADVENTURE ON THE SEAS’

‘Limited food courses’, ‘mis-leading descriptions of food items’, ‘barely adequate buffet food’ and ‘tasteless’ are a few words that some up the latest dining experience on Adventure of the Seas.

Would you agree? Royal Caribbean promise to bring you a multitude of fantastic dining but are they really living up to their promise.

The Royal Caribbean customer, you will find, is a very loyal one but now it seems even the loyal customers are threatening to turn their backs once and for all and choose another cruising experience .

I have spoken to many customers on their return from The Adventure and the responses are very much the same when you speak about the dining. Food is a huge part of any cruise as we know , the dining experiences that their marketing departments promise have us drooling from our mouths and have us dieting to the point of death months leading up to the cruise ready to embark on some kind of food fest. The pressure therefore is that they need to deliver .

One customer pointed out how tasteless and luke warm the food was and also how there seemed to be reduced portions, the mashed potato and the same vegetables were served with every meal. Mmmm sounds good to me unless the mashed potato was luke warm too then definately a no no. Another customer pointed out that the food was stale and again not hot enough.

I havent been on the Adventure but I have experienced the Brilliance of the Seas and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing and faultless.

With the price war we have endured and which the customers have been thankful for, have the ships that have sailed out of Southampton on full capacity on the majority of sailings let there standards slip or is it that when your selling a cruise for £499 you have to take on board you will see various customers from all walks of life whether new to cruise or 5 star ships take advantage and then have their expectations dashed.

Your thoughts would be appreciated , have you recently sailed on the Adventure and what was your dining experience. Better than ever before or has it not tickled your tastebuds like you expected it to.

For such an amazing ship in all other areas it would be great to know your thoughts?
