Escorted South America 2019 last few seats. Here’s why!

South America, the number 1 destination for 2018 and 2019. It’s popularity has grown in huge proportions in the last few years which is why our Fully Escorted trip is in high demand each year. We combine a land tour featuring Peru which includes Cusco and Machu Piccu followed by a 14 night south american cruise then followed by a land tour of Rio and Iguassu. 26 Nights in total. The land tours are full on with early starts so the tour guides can fill your days with the most amazing experiences. By splitting the land tour up by 14 days with a cruise it gives you a break and the itinerary works perfectly this way.

I have added the itinerary for you below which you may have seen but what I think is more important that anything else is customer reviews who have experienced this trip first hand. These reviews are from our 24th January 2019 departure and who have just returned.

“The trip was 100% amazing, Intrepid were brilliant and really caring and extremely well organised. No issues with the Iguassu hotel and 100% recommends Intrepid and couldn’t find a single thing that wasn’t spot on”

” Intrepid were amazing especially the tour guides in Peru specifically Daniel. Once we were at altitude the guides were on call 24 hours a day to administer oxygen to anyone who was suffering altitude sickness. Daniel the guide who dropped us off at the airport actually dropped us all off at the check in desks and waited until everyone had checked in. Also in the evenings when no meals were included the guides invited people to go to dinner with them or recommended local eateries and actually walked people there.  Hotel in Iguacu ok  it was clean and the food was amazing there and what do you expect you are in the middle of a jungle!  Well done to Intrepid!”

“All went very well thanks intrepid did a very good job and were well organised. The tour guides Angela in Peru and Dennis in Argentina were excellent and it was nice that they traveled with us. The cruise was good and we ended up with a nice mid ship balcony on deck 12 so we did get an upgrade, but it was stressful not knowing cabin until the day before we traveled from uk ! The hotels were all good quality and we felt the whole package was a very good price considering all that was included so definitely good value for money. We felt that it would have been nice to have one chilled day in each place we stayed in to explore independently as most of the time we arrived late and then off early the next morning either travelling or on tours.”

“Where do we start!!! the trip was absolutely amazing.  My work colleagues are sick to death of me going on about it already :-).  I cannot rate Intrepid Urban Adventures highly enough – both on the Brazilian and then Peruvian side the guides were fantastic and really couldn’t do enough for us.  From start to finish all the individual guides knew their stuff, took us on really interesting tours, and the two main guides (Tania in Brazil & Diana in Peru) were just great.  Where we didn’t have organised stuff they arranged optional activities recommended/took us out for extra dinners/lunches so we were never stuck not knowing what to do.  One day when we did have a blip on the evening meal that they had organised as an extra not being exactly perfect we got money back (that we didn’t really need).

i have to say that we enjoyed the land tour more than the cruise, not that the cruise wasn’t great it was just the land tour was amazing.  We’d never been on Princess before so didn’t know what to expect.  We did hear people moaning about entertainment and food – but we never ran out of things to do, probably because i’m happy lying around with my book because there wasn’t a great deal to do on the ship during the days at sea, but i didn’t care.  The food i thought was fine (not brilliant and probably not as good as P&O, but definitely good enough).  I also thought the excursions were very expensive for what you got but this could well have been because of the area we were in as people who’d been on other Princess cruises also thought the same.  Having said that we did an organised tour at every stop ( 2 at one) and 90% of them were great.  the Buenos Aires Ranch visit gets a special mention as i’ve never eaten meat that good before – those Ribs will live with me for ever!!  That was our best tour we went on.

I have added the link for this trip below with the full itinerary on for you. Last few spaces so please do give me a call if this trip sounds perfect for you. Cheers Holly 08004086114 [email protected]
