ARE MSC TOMORROW’S INDUSTRY LEADERS?

MSC Cruises really are going from Strength to Strength and making themselves a real contender for tomorrows cruise Industry Leaders.

Already their new ships MSC Meraglivia due to launch in June 2017 and MSC Seaside in December 2017 have received rave reviews and to be honest I am not surprised.

Being honest they may not look like the most glamorous of ships but looks can be very deceiving because once on board buoy 🙂 they will definitely have the X Factor.  According to MSC, Seaside is aptly nicknamed as the ship that follows the sun and follow she will as she will be based year round sailing out of the port of Miami, leading the way for a new generation of not only revolutionary architecture but also cutting edge technology.

MSC Seaside will also bring passengers closer to the sea with a unique waterfront promenade that wraps right around the ship and will offer plenty of places to eat, shop and sunbathe whilst offering panoramic lift providing breathtaking views of the sea. I can only imagine you can immerse yourself here feeling you really are on a luxury resort edge .

The excitement of Seaside doesn’t end there, she will also offer one of the largest and most interactive Aquaparks at Sea. She is the first cruise ship to feature slide boarding technology, combining a slide and an interactive game that is cutting edge in water park technology, ensuring unrivalled fun for all ages.

MSC have also recently appointed a top team who have moved over from Royal Caribbean, including Steve Williams original Head of Sales for Royal and now taking on the same role but for MSC. This move alone tells me that MSC are on their way to becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Yesterday MSC also announced that MSC Magnifica will be making 25 sailings from Southampton in 2018. The ship will be doing 7,11,12,and 13 night sailings covering the Fjords and France and Spain cruises too. A great move as I feel we definitely need more choice sailing out of Southampton.

Not only that but also announced yesterday was MSC will be whisking you away on an incredible journey, their first ever MSC World Cruise. Are you ready to live your travel dreams in January 2019? One single westbound trip across most continents, over 119 days.

MSC Magnifica will sail west across the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean islands of Santa Lucia and Granada, before visits to Aruba and Colombia and transiting the Panama Canal. After an exploration of Central America, the ship will head to the United States of America with stops including San Francisco and the Hawaiian islands. French Polynesia follows with stops in Tahiti and Bora Bora. After exploring Fiji, the ship will reach New Zealand and the iconic port of Sydney in Australia. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka follow, before two days in the magical Maldives. The passage through the Suez Canal brings us to Oman, UAE and Jordan, before returning to the Mediterranean Sea.

So in a nutshell, I firmly believe that MSC really are a force to be reckoned with and I myself believe they have seriously upped their game to become one of the most sought after cruiselines of the future.

What do you think? Can MSC be a game changer of the future? I look forward to your thoughts

Cheers Holly x
