Adonia is coming home…….and she’s on sale now!

Really good news recently when P&O announced that the much loved Adonia, which left the fleet in 2015, will be making a comeback. I think this is fantastic news as I’ve had so many P&O customers asking what had happened to her.

From June 2017 the Adonia will return to P&O and begin sailing a range of itineraries in Europe and the Caribbean.

P&O Adonia is comng home

Adonia had previously left to sail as “fathom cruises”; a line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Guests were taken to locations such as the Dominican Republic to help teach English or build water filtration systems.

Carnival Corporation had hoped to introduce the concept of “social impact travel” to the cruising world but have now decided to return the ship to P&O, which i’m sure will please many of you who prefer to sail on a smaller ship.  Many of customers after Adonia left switched to the Oriana as this was now P&O’s smallest adult only ship.

The Adonia was previously an adult only vessel that was one of the smaller ships in the fleet, with only 710 passengers on-board.

Once returned to the fleet she will have upgrades including a new restaurant (Olly Smith’s “The Glass House”), an outdoor cinema on the Lido deck, refreshed furnishings and lighter fabrics in cabins.

P&O to re-introduce Adonia are offering a massive 50% off if you currently have a booking in 2017 onboard Aurora, Oriana or Arcadia.  No catch…..its a brilliant offer.

To give you idea you can get a 07 night Western Europe cruise in an inside cabin for approx £400pp (based on 07 July 2017 in a PC grade inside) or a 14 night Iceland cruise from approx £799pp (based on 23 June in a PC grade).

As you can see that 50% discount really is a genuine offer, and even better they also give a small amount of onboard credit.

Nice to see them rewarding past passengers for once!
