Will Celebrity Edge Have The Edge?

Will Celebrity Edge have the edge?

Well I have just returned from the cruise.co.uk  annual conference which was held this year in a sunny but extremely cold Skegness. Now it would not normally be held at a holiday camp but as we  need specific facilities, number of nights, accommodation  etc, it proved impossible to get everything we needed with a cruise line this year.

But even though we weren’t at sea we had a great time and learned lots from the cruise lines.

I was really impressed with the information we were given about Celebrity Cruises new ship – Celebrity Edge.

She will have so many new venues, I for one can not wait to try the Magic Carpet. This is the size of a tennis court, and reaches heights of 13 storeys above the sea , it is the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform. It will be situated on the starboard side of Celebrity Edge, it is designed with comfortable seating, a full bar, and space for live music performances – how good does that sound?

Once you have experienced this, you will have to visit Eden –  this, they promise will be unlike anything currently at sea – all your senses will be awakened. The Eden Cafe and restaurant will produce fantastic aromas, there will be different productions in the evenings for guests to enjoy.

Want to soak up the sun on the resort deck? I would recommend that you book one of the private cabanas to enjoy the sunshine, then cool down in one of the many hot tubs – it’s a hard life isn’t it?

And where will you sleep? Why not try the brand new Infinite balcony cabins? Touch a button and the whole living space becomes your balcony, want something even better than this – why not try one of the new range of suites – the Iconic Suites will be very luxurious or what about the 2 storey Edge Villas that boast over 950 square feet of space.

There are going to be some hard choices for us to make when it comes to deciding what, where and when! But I am sure that we won’t disappointed.
