Romance On The Seas

I was astounded to see this weekend whilst out shopping, cards, heart shaped balloons and all kinds of parapheranalia associated with Valentines Day.  This made me realise we are only one month away from  supposedly the most romantic day of the year. But, why just  stop at this one day?

Holidays give us the opportunity to rekindle our romantic relationships. Imagine watching the sun set over the sea, dark skies that are full of the brightest stars, dining on the finest cuisine? Here are a  few tips to help you choose the best cruise……

Make sure the ship is right for you – do you want intimate dining and fewer passengers or is your idea of fun lost of bars and clubs to enjoy your time together?

Itinerary is very important, do you want to spend your days lazing on tropical white sand beaches or does culture float your boat, do you like to spend time together learning new skills or subjects?

What about your stateroom –  have a  leisurely breakfast or enjoy a glass of cold champagne  on your own private balcony,  would  having a concierge to look after your needs allow you to spend more time together? – spending that bit more on your cabin is definitely worth it!!!

Most ships offer couples treatments in their spas, such as massages. Adult only areas where you can enjoy peace and quiet listening to your favourite tunes on your Ipad,  are available on a number of ships.

And for the ultimate romantic, why not renew your vows at sea? Most cruise lines now offer this for a fee. So any romantics out there contact me and we can discuss your romance requests!!
