No Passport Required With Fred Olsen!

No Passport required with Fred Olsen I hear you gasp!

Fred Olsen are abolishing the need for a Passport – surely not!

Well not quite.

They have some exciting news though – they have announced today that, they will be sailing a few short taster cruises from the UK in 2017/2018.

What a fantastic way to experience a Fred Olsen ship if either a) You haven’t cruised with this line before or b) You haven’t cruised at all.

What a great idea – step on board, enter your cabin – see the typical ocean view above, enjoy the wonderful 5 course dinner, sit back and be entertained in different lounges or the theatre, get a great nights sleep, sit down the following morning for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the journey home – what a great idea.

If, after experiencing this you decide that Fred Olsen isn’t for you or for that matter a life on the ocean wave  isn’t your cup of tea, what has been lost? You certainly won’t have given up much of your time or money – it’s a win win situation.

Add to this that you don’t need either travel insurance or a Passport ( just photo I/D ) for these taster cruises- it’s great news all around.

We here at cruise.co.uk  love Fred Olsen. In fact, this weekend we are holding our annual conference on board. We did this last year, visiting Brugge. This year we set sail from Liverpool and make our way over to the Emerald Isle for a stay in Dublin – we will be working though! We will be hearing all about the fantastic new ideas etc  the different cruise lines have in mind for the next couple of years or so – but I am sure there will be time for a Guinness or two!

So what do you think of this from Fred Olsen – do you see it being worth your while? Do you think that it will work?

I will be interested to hear.
