Happy New Year!! Welcome to Mad January!!

I just wanted to wish all my readers, friends, family, colleagues & everyone else a very Happy New Year!

For anyone interested I had a great Christmas but a lousy New Year thanks to me catching this bug that seems to be going round! Still rough now but since it’s officially Mad January I know I’ll just be powering on though!

2017 is going to be a massive year for cruising, with new ships, new destinations and plenty of amazing promotions!

But January particularly is a great time to be picking up deals. Cruise lines will want to start the year off well, and they realise that folks have got less money than normal after spending an arm and leg over Christmas and New Year, so naturally the prices will drop down noticeably.

So when and where is looking good for deals?

Well, the closer the better  in terms of dates, you can pick up late space to the USA and Caribbean now which will scratch the itch for some heat. But if you want to stay a little closer to home, then the early European season begins late April when the weather starts to turn, so this is a good opportunity also.

But which cruise lines are offering the best deals?

Well my picks at the moment have to be Royal Caribbean and P&O. These two lines have various benefits at the moment, drinks, half price options, free parking, on board credit. Between the two of these giants they are giving a lot more extra value than others, so you are getting a bit more bang for your buck. However I feel that in terms of pricing in addition to value, Norwegian Cruise Line (or NCL) are giving the best overall prices.

Various destinations available and loads of choice between the diverse ships my NCL my current front runner for offers.

I’m sure this will change throughout the month as more and more deals become available. But on thing is for sure with January – NOW IS THE TIME!!!

Strike while the iron is hot and wash away the post Christmas blues and get yourself something to look forward to!
