Dover to Stockholm, 26 nights and 20 ports of call on board the supreme Oceania Marina.

18th June 2012 to 14th July 2012

For those of you who have an interest in the history of the Vikings and the cities and people of Scandinavia, this is the cruise for you. Starting your voyage from Dover the Marina calls into several ports in the UK including Fowey in Cornwall, Belfast and Stornaway. Dublin is also a stop before arriving in Iceland and its fiery landscape with visits to Reykjavik and Isafjordur.

With a stop in the Faroe Islands you will be visiting the smallest capital city in the world Torshavn, famous for is grass covered roofs. Norway is the next destination with calls to Krisitiansan and Oslo. The Little Mermaid beckons in Copenhagen on your next port of call, a city with grand Palaces and of course Tivoli gardens. Another port of call in Denmark is Ronne with its cobbled streets and half timbered buildings an area famous, in time gone by for Long Case clocks.

Both ports of call in Denmark are split by a visit to Berlin. A rare chance to visit Gdansk in Poland, arguable the city where the iron curtain began to fall. Fairy tale spires are a main feature of the cities of Visby and Tallin before arriving in the Grand city of St Petersburg, a must see in the Baltic. A chance to explore perhaps the greatest museum on earth the Hermitage, a chance to also see one of the great palaces of the world Peterhof. Helsinki is well worth a visit with its famous cathedral before arriving into Stockholm. A beautiful early morning sail in will greet you here as the Marina glides through the spectacular archipelago that guards Stockholm. Today you will disembark the Marina, I have added on a 2 night stop in Stockholm giving you the chance to explore this fantastic city. 2 nights at the Clarion Sign with breakfast included and transfers from the ship to the hotel. The Clarion sign is close to the old town and the main shopping area. On your final day transfers will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport for your flight home.
