    Empire and Nostalgia - No flying Australia

    There is never a dull moment in the cruise travel industry and we do get some great requests from prospective cruisers and no more so than a request from a gentleman recently, a no fly cruise to Australia.

    Not an everyday request these days but as experienced cruises will know it is certainly possible if you have the time and means. A rare request yes, but you only need to go back to the halcyon days of the 50s & 60s and the days of the empire and the 10 poms to see it was a regular route that has left a wake of nostalgia today.

    I have put this little package together, what do you think?

    4th Jan 2012 and 114 nights of empire and nostalgia start with 43 nights on board P&O Aurora with the highlights of a Panama Canal transit and calls into San Francisco, the Hawaiian Islands and New Zealand before arriving in Sydney Australia for a 12 night stay in the Holiday Inn, Darling Harbour, including breakfast.

    Close to the city centre and ideal to explore Sydney to the full. Board Cunards Queen Elizabeth 29th Feb 2012 for the second half of your adventure on a 59 night voyage with the highlights of Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Mumbai, the monuments of ancient Egypt and Jordan, a transit of the Suez Canal a visit to the eternal city of Rome and glamorous Monte Carlo.

    From 11889 per person
    Inludes;
    All the usual luxury associated with cruising in 4 plus star comfort, food and entertainment at its best
    43 nights onboard Aurora

    Tom,
    I thought you were looking for a free cruise from cruise dot on the earlier posts but a dozen wives all on the same ship and in the same hotel room, are you mad? Boy you must be brave
