Wash Your Hands

It Is an going problem, hygiene on board! And something I hate people not washing hands, on a ship this can cause huge problems, having recently come back from a Celebrity Cruise, I loved the fact they have staff working to make sure you do the basic things! In this day and age it is a sad problem for basic hygiene!

It is not something you like to talk about, but we’re a bunch of germ-laden conveyors of infectious diseases. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know the s those people you see trying to sneak past the waiter at the restaurant to avoid the gel and then those that go to the toilet and do not wash their hands anymore you are around coughing, nose blowing passengers in public the more chance you have to become sick whilst on board. The one bug bare for me is!!! How many people have do you see who do this On a ship these spread like wild fire and you may think you’re in an idyllic, protected environment on a cruise ship, but, WRONG! You’re in a bubbling stew of microscopic buggies, especially those norovirus bacterium that are just waiting to quarantine you in your stateroom, sitting on the john with your head in a bucket. So how can you avoid becoming ill on holiday, First and foremost, stay away from anyone who appears to be sick, even if it is your other half, Wash your hands when you have used the bathroom Do accept the gel from the waiter before and after you leave the dining room If your favourite bartender is greener than the fresh lime Margarita you just ordered, you might want to hightail it to the bathroom to, yes, WASH YOUR HANDS, along with your forearms, elbows, boobs, belly, and anything else that came in contact with the counter. Be aware that doorknobs, railings, elevator buttons and everything you touch might be contaminated. Even the utensils in the bowls on the buffet are suspected carriers of viruses. It may seem even better. Try to drink bottled water only and stay away from too much Ice This may sound like I am telling you to suck eggs but this happens all the time and just simple steps taken by everyone will stop the likes of the norovirus doing its round and spoiling your time away and you don’t need inconvenient, but carrying a small container of hand sanitizer is a good idea. Using it is to go overboard by fist-bumping the captain instead of shaking his hand. And if you are like me and see people not washing their hands tell them in a polite manner! Don’t let this happen to you
