NCL Escape

We have just come off the NCL Escape it was fantastic we sailed from Miami and visited Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and the Bahamas, it was the bots that picked the Cruise as they liked the look of the slides on board,

We had booked a Mini Suite for our week on board, the room was lovely however not quite a Mini Suite size which I knew the cabins on NCL are smaller than other lines I would say similar size to a balcony on Celebrity, however the bathroom was very spacious and had a double shower,

We had the Premium All-Inclusive package which was fantastic and could have anything up to the value of 15 US we paid for the soda package for the lads which was 7 us a day, only one downside is they don’t include water in your drinks package, however we purchased a water package for 17 us,

The dining options on board where just amazing and the choice was endless, we had a dine package so ate in Cagney’s Steakhouse, Italian and Japanese which was the best food ever and the boys loved watching the man put on a show whilst cooking our food,

Th main restaurant Manhattan was great which is where we ate the rest of the time, the choice was the best I have seen on a Cruise in a long time so many choices, also each evening they had a band playing or a show going on whilst eating which was great and something different

The facilities on board very good and so much to do the boys daily routine would be get up breakfast, couple of games of ping pong, then mini golf, climbing frame and slides lunch, then start over again they never stopped, both loved it and be far the best one they have been on so far,

We stopped at Falmouth in Jamaica which has changed since the last time we stopped the port itself was lovely and loads of shops and bars if you don’t want to go far, we took the day trip to Dunn’s River Falls which we have done before but the boys couldn’t remember I must admit was lot harder than I could remember but great fun,

Next stop was Cozumel and we just walked off the ship and had a wander round the town, lovely place lots of shops and bars and restaurants and of course we had to stop at Margaritaville for a few cocktails before getting back on board

Bahamas was NCL private island, so we had a day on the beach relaxing and did some snorkelling

There is nothing I could fault on board everything was great food was excellent, the service of the staff was very good from day 1 I wouldn’t hesitate to go back with them, the boys said it was there favourite ship they have been on so far, and want me to book the NCL Bliss when she comes into service, it’s only because it has a go kart track on board!
