The end of P&O party cruises?!

Are you getting married soon? Thinking of a stag or hen weekend? Well what better way the spend your last few weeks of freedom then on board one of P&O mini cruises. A two night cruises for under £200. This includes all your food and entertainment with the clubs open all hours and drinks very reasonable. I know from getting married and being a best man within the last few years, that stag doos are not cheap. With everything taken care of onboard this mini cruise it seems like a really good option. However things are about to change P&O cruises has imposed a new code of conduct for passengers that prohibits offensive clothing and places restrictions on the amount of alcohol brought onboard. The new regulations also include a ban on custom group clothing with personal photos or slogans, as well as clothing with offensive messages and fancy dress outside of designated theme nights, which might include 60s, 70s, tropical, Western or black and white. P&O did not provide an official reason for the changes, but the line stressed that it isn’t trying to detract from cruisers’ ability to have a good time. For me personally I don’t see the harm with Fancy dress and people there to have a party it all makes for a better atmosphere. I agree there should be a limit to the amount of alcohol that you take onboard however I don’t think they should restrict this to one bottle. Maybe this is a way of P&O trying to make more money at the bar.

I would like to hear from you on this. Do You think its right with the changes P&O have implemented. Have you been on a mini cruise where there has been stag, hen, Birthday parties. Do you think that this is is bringing down the standard of the ship?
