Mini cruise on Ventura.

So today is the day I go on my mini cruise to Bruges on Ventura. Instead of packing my case here I am writing this blog for you guys to read. I have 2 hours before I leave so plenty of time for some blogging. Some of you may already know but for those of you that don’t know I only live 10 minutes from the dock so it is all pretty easy for me. I love the fact that in 3 hours from now I will probably be in the hot tub on board Ventura or stuffing my face with the all you can eat food on board. I did this same mini cruise with my wife last year and loved it. It is a great little break away and it was under £200. Considering you get all your food, a show both nights use of the spa facilities and much more I would recommend it to everybody. This year I am going with my wife, My best friend and his wife. They have never been with Ventura before. I will have to try my best to get out of travel agent mode and let them enjoy the ship for what it is. This time tomorrow I will be in Bruges. I checked the weather and unlike Southampton it shows 18 degrees. Considering down south it has been miserable for the last 2 months I am really looking forward to a bit of sunshine. Weird that you can travel overnight to a different country and the weather is completely different considering it is so close. Some People when they do Mini cruise will stay on the ship and enjoy they facilities. I however love Bruges, with the cobbled streets and unlimited amount of chocolate shops, it is a lovely city to visit. Anyway it is now 11.30 and I better start packing as the sooner i’m packed the sooner my holiday begins. I will be blogging again when I get back to let you all know if I enjoyed it as much as first ti,me round. If you have any questions for me be sure to contact me via Facebook. Ciao for now.
