If you thought the Bay of Biscay was rocky you wouldn’t want to do this cruise…..

Many customers that I speak to say they have never had a bad experience with seasickness on a cruise. The ships are so big they say and they have stabilizers so its like going through a mill pond. I have however had a few customers saying that going through the Bay of biscay you can feel the motion and do feel slight sea sick so may be worth upgrading to a midship cabin. Well mid ship or not I don’t think anything would have protected you from what 2550 customers went though last week on Carnival spirit. The ship was travelling near new south wales when the storm hit. There were reports of 40 feet waves forget little rock most of the guests onboard thought the ship was going to roll over. Many passengers related the terrifying journey that left plates smashed throughout the dining halls and people vomiting. It was lucky nobody was hurt.

I can tell you I wouldn’t have wanted to be in that situation. The worst experience I had was when the celebrity equinox was testing the stabilizers once on a work trip to Guernsey. At the time i thought this was a terrible experience however in actually fact  there was no sign of sick bags. (Unless alcohol related)  40 foot waves or plates falling of the shelves onto the floor. More like people having too much to drink and falling out of the club in the early hours.

I have been lucky with the cruises I have been on so far as  really think a rocky cruise may put me off from going.

I would like to hear from you all. Has anyone been on a really rocky cruise but would still go back again or maybe it has put you off and you wold stick to flying. Let me know your thoughts on this.
