Promotions Galore

So we are fast approaching the end of the year with 2017 nearly upon us and I have already taken lots of calls for P&O and Cunard for 2018! Yes I know, we are not even into 2017 yet but P&O and Cunard have taken it upon themselves to release up to September 2018 itineraries and given agents the chance to pre-register clients for the on sale date (15/09/16) for all past passengers in their loyalty program.

This is giving customers the ideal opportunity to register their details for particular cruise itineraries and be one of the first to book. The itineraries will go live from 8am in the morning so as you can imagine us agent will be having an early night sleep the day before so we are all up and ready to get all these cabins booked. At present we are able to give out the prices including past passenger discounts, on-board credit, free port parking, free transfers to and from Southampton along with added benefits such as further discounts and free wine packages. So get in there quick before this goes on sale to get your pre-registration set up and in place.

We have also seen from today that Royal Caribbean are offering the fantastic buy one get one half price campaign along with the free deluxe beverage packages when booking 2017 Mediterranean for 6 nights or longer. Royal Caribbean have changed the beverage package from the standard select beverage package to the deluxe beverage package in the hope that this will entice more customers to want to book their 2017 cruise with them.

The package Previously called: Ultimate Beverage Package will consist of the following -Guests can enjoy any individual beverage item up to $12 (retail value) available on-board, choosing from ALL cocktails,
spirits, liqueurs, wines, beer, soda beverages, bottled water, fresh squeezed juices, mocktails, premium coffee and premium tea.

Celebrity Cruise Lines are also offering on selected 2017 Mediterranean sailings the “Buy one get one half price” offer along the free classic beverage package which seems to be enticing a lot more returning customers. However I personally feel the the deluxe beverage package from Royal Caribbean seems to be a lot better.

It seems that a lot of cruise lines are now introducing their 2017 / 2018 offers and campaigns early to try and get customers to book rather than introducing them in January with the New Year Sales. However I do feel that everyone prefers these lovely offers and promotions come what January as it is that time of year where we all start to feel a little blue and need that little something extra to give us that boost and give us something to loo forward to.

However I am sure from all of your different feedback you all love a good deal whether this be free on-board credit, free drinks packages, free flights or even buy 2 cruises and get the 3rd free? Although we seem to be seeing these offers and campaigns early I am sure we will still see some further great offers come what January.
