We liked the look of the
Windstar ships with their
sails out - so much more
appealing than some of
the "apartment blocks on
the water" that we'd
seen, so we added a week
on the Wind Surf onto the
end...

everything was up to
their usual very high
standard. Sailing out of
Venice and then back into
the same port was one of

My wife and I had an
excellent relaxing cruise
on the Wind Surf,
starting and ending in
Rome (Civitaveccia) and
taking in Ischia, Capri,
Amalfi, Sorrento, Ajaccio
& Livorno, with one
day at sea...

Lovely ship with huge
sails. Fantastic to see
when the sails are up -
which is most of the time
at sea. Lovely cabin,
contemporary with lots of
facilities - and very
light - and a good size...

Well - this was

difference started when
we arrived by taxi at the
port, where we found one
sleepy port official who
waved us straight through
down the quay...

small boat by cruising
standards, with a
capacity of just over 300
