We have sailed twice before with Thomson on the Celebration and we expected the same standard on the Dream and we were not in the main disappointed. the food and service in the Orion restaurant (waiter service) was excellent. We did not like the Andromedia (self service) like waiting in a long line as in a school canteen, this was made worse by the layout.
The cabin we had (outside on deck 7) was very comfortable and spacious. Only one grouse in that there was very little shelf space. There are so many seating areas on the ship and such a wide variety of entertainment. We only went to one show which was followed by the crew's own show and it was excellent. The staff throughout the ship were very friendly.
We had two disappointments, firstly we could not visit Tunis due to water intake etc. I understand this is to be rectified soon with the installtion of de-salination plant. On our way to Obia one of the engines had to be shut down so we did not dock and we missed our trip for that day. However it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun. We visted the Herculaneum at Naples, well worth a visit. In Toulon we went around the town on a train very enjoyable. In Barcelona we went on a city highlights tour again very enjoyable. In all we had avery nice holiday and we are looking forwards to our next trip on Dream in January when we are off to the Carribean.

We were obviously on the same cruise as you. I agree with all you say about the ship. We had an excellent time.
