Im glad someone feels the same as us about this Thomson cruise.Awful and thats a first.A punch up on the lido deck.Entertainment staff.No comment.Cabins noisy with vibration. Will stay with P and O or Royal Caribbean. Expecting an onslaught!! from loyal Thomson passengers.

Having been a loyal Thomson passenger for a number of years, I too was most disappointed in our cruise on Majesty in April. Food was dreadful, some of the staff rude and insolent, couldn't wait to get home. I did complain but was told by Thomsons after care team that the ship was meeting its targets. Whos targets, certainly not ours.

My wife and I were also on the same coach transfer from Dalaman to Marmaris, and fully agree with the comments made above regarding the driver falling asleep. We also immediately reported this potentially disastrous incident to the check-in staff, and later in the week to the Destination Services Manager on board Celebration. It was apparent that Thomson were not concerned about this incident as the very same driver was waiting at the dockside a week later for the return journey. Luckily we were able to board a different coach, otherwise we would have refused to get on his coach.

I am so glad that somebody else reported this incident, I would ask that you follow it up with a letter to after travel customer services at Thomsons, as I really do think they should do something about this and they seem more than reluctant to even acknowledge it. I wrote to them the day after our return on the 21st May and have yet to even receive a note of it having been received. I am sure they are hoping that I will go away quietly, but I will not. We could all have been killed or seriously injured on that coach, especially due to the mountain roads and sheer drops in some points. I actually asked Thomson staff "what are you doing about it or are you waiting until you have a coach full of injured passengers to deal with?" Their reply was that they would log it on their system but never did until I stood by reception and insisted she do it while I waited. Just no good enough.

Me and my partner are going on the Ancient Wonders cruise on the 24th June and I am now very worried about the coach transfer after reading all of the above about the coach driver falling asleep at the wheel. I hope that somebody has written a strong letter to Thomsons, this driver should be struck off surely. Very worried.
Crikey, the driver incident is very worrying. We are going on the Black Sea cruise on July 8th and considering my husband has just come out of a Spinal Injuries unit makes me nervous about the Dalaman/Marmaris transfer. How long is the transfer by the way? We've been with Thomsons many times, plus P and O and NCL, and have enjoyed all the cruises. However it is our first time on the Celebration. It is very unusual for Thomsons staff to be nothing but excellent. I'll write up a review when I return so you will see how we got on.
