Earlier this year my husband myself and a friend went on a Thomsons cruise. We did a back to back out of Corfu the first week visiting the Greek islands and the second week Croatia and Montenagro. We choose these two cruises mainly for the itinery and it was fabulous. By returning to Corfu at the end of the first cruise it gave us a chance to visit the island and it was wonderful. Every port was a delight especially the second week. No other cruise line offered an itinery as good as this and none with as many ports of call, we only had two days at sea which were the two days after we left Corfu. We have cruised with many cruise lines and Thomsons does rate with the best regarding food, service, and certainly entertainment. The ships may be smaller and not quite so glam but they have all you want and do have a nice friendly atmosphere. As I said at the begining a friend travelled with us and again Thomsons certainly are one of the best when it comes to the dreaded single supplement. I think its about time something was done about the absorbitant supplements some cruise lines charge. I give both the above cruises 9 out of 10.
