they have taken choice of cocktails only one cocktail of the day, no cappucinos,no liquers, unbranded spirits checkout cruise critic , its started on dream a letter is given to you on arrival eplaining the changes , thomson have confirmed all ships , the same , not very happy as partly why i booked it x

I would be very annoyed to discover this on board, especially if I had paid full price for the AI- it's not cheap! Their website gives no indication of this, says a range of teas, coffees and cocktails are included. Only excludes premium drinks such as champagne, malt whiskey and cognac.

A letter is given to you on arrival on the ship which explains the changes to the AI package and and why it has happened. There is still a range of cocktails as the brochure says - however it appears that only one is alcohol based - the Cocktail of the Day. There never was a range of teas and coffees on this package to my memory.

Sorry I first read this a liquer coffees that were at a supplement even if you were AI - other coffees such as Espresson Americano Cappuccino Latte Mocha Frappe etc were included on the AI - the new situation is not clear from the letter as these are not referred to at all in the what's included section so perhaps they no longer are.

I'm sailing on Celebration on Monday. Even though I got the free AI, if this is true I'm disappointed. I think they should honour what they advertised when I booked

I hope you have a wonderful trip on the Celebration and write a detailed review on your return. We too have taken up the A.I for the 1st time on our next trip at Christmas on her to the Red Sea, done 4 itineries so far and loved every one. Do hope the changes don't make too much difference or Thomsons' won't be as popular with their regular customers, sadly. Say hi to Rain a waitress if you meet her.
