Seabourn - Seabourn Sojourn
Seabourn Sojourn
The Seabourn Sojourn was the second of three new ships to be built for Seabourn Cruises. Completed in 2010, the vessel is nearly identical to its sister ships Odyssey and Quest and, like its siblings, it has been designed to provide the ultimate in cruising luxury.
From the moment guests step on-board the Sojourn, every effort will be made to put them at ease. For example, the ship's lobby - traditionally an ornate and imposing setting intended to create a strong first impression - has been replaced with a warm and welcoming space called Seabourn Square, which feels more like a comfortable living room than a majestic entryway.
Those wishing to travel on the Sojourn will have a wide range of routes to choose from.
The vessel regularly departs on cruises around northern Europe, with options including Baltic voyages stopping in St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The Norwegian Fjords tour is a popular option, while other itineraries take passengers along the coast of Scotland and through the Irish Sea, with ports of call in Dublin and Cork.
Voyages are also available that venture further afield to destinations around the world, including places like Reykjavik, Montreal, Martha's Vineyard, Fort Lauderdale, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.

Food, cuisine and dining
The main dining room is The Restaurant, which serves three meals a day. It's a fairly traditional venue, and guests tend to dress up at dinner time. Open seating is available to all passengers, so you can choose when, where and with whom you dine - and there are plenty of smaller tables if you prefer something a bit more intimate.
Cruise favourites like caviar are always available, while spectacular flaming desserts are also served to the sheer delight of all guests.
Other options include the casual Patio Grill, which is located next to the main pool and offers a continental breakfast and items like burgers, pizza and salads for lunch. There's also The Colonnade and Restaurant 2
Hot drinks and snacks are available from both Seabourn Square and the The Club, while room service is provided 24 hours a day.
On-board entertainment and activities
During the day, the Observation Bar and The Club are ideal places to enjoy quiet drinks and friendly conversation, while they generally get a bit livelier in the evenings. There's also the Grand Salon for cabaret and comedy, as well as enrichment lectures and demonstrations.
If you're looking for a bit of sunshine, the Sun Terrace is a lovely location with a number of double sun beds. Or you could head to The Retreat for a game of shuffleboard or to practice your putting.
There's a casino for those who wish to do a bit of gambling, while the Card Room has a number of board games and even a Wii console. And if you're looking to buy a few souvenirs, there are a number of duty-free shops.
In warm water ports, the ship may also deploy its fold-out marina. Passengers can then enjoy a variety of water sports like kayaking, windsurfing and paddle boating.
Spas and fitness facilities
The Spa at Seabourn is the largest facility of its kind to be found on any ultra-luxury ship. It's a gorgeously decorated space and it's obvious that every detail has been considered to make it a relaxing place.
Decorated with an Asian influence, the spa is incredibly peaceful and features earthy tones. A large waterfall greets guests at the entrance, while verdant plants like bamboo and exotic flowers add to the overall sense of tranquillity.
The spa offers a huge range of treatment options, such as hot stone massage, aromatherapy, oxydermy facials, Thai herbal poultice, cellulite reduction and seaweed wraps. There's also a relaxation room, a thermal suite and a beauty salon.
In addition, the Fitness Centre has plenty of exercise machines, while guests can also choose to take part in various fitness classes throughout the day.
Cabins
The Sojourn has more than 200 rooms and while these are all designated as suites - meaning they have separate sleeping and sitting areas - there are 13 different price ranges for you to choose from.
The most opulent rooms are the Grand Suites, which measure more than 1,000 square feet, while the Wintergarden Suites provide access to an exclusive lounge area.
For those seeking luxury cruise deals, the standard rooms might be a better option. The smallest of these measure around 300 square feet, making them nearly twice the size of the industry standard and they come with a number of exclusive amenities. So even if you do choose the cheapest room, you can be sure you'll still be well taken care of.
All rooms have a view, while 90 per cent of all cabins have balconies. Whichever type of quarters you select, you'll have a private bathroom, a large flat-screen television and a DVD player.
Fresh fruit, flowers and high-quality toiletries are provided and if you'd like a host to run you a warm bubble bath or sprinkle rose petals on your bed, your wishes will be accommodated.
