Seabourn - Seabourn Quest
Seabourn Quest
As the newest ship in the Seabourn Cruises fleet, the Seabourn Quest was launched in 2011. It is a sister to the Sojourn and Odyssey and is nearly identical to both vessels.
Its name was chosen with a competition that invited submissions from the public. Out of more than 2,000 suggestions, Quest was the winner with 120 votes.
The Quest is truly an international ship and as such, it offers a huge selection of destinations and itineraries on every continent (except Antarctica). Popular routes are those around the Aegean and Adriatic, with ports of call including places like Venice, Dubrovnik, Santorini and Athens. Other options include transatlantic crossings and Caribbean cruises.
Of course, if you want to see the world in luxury, travelling by sea is one of the best ways to go. That's why the Quest is scheduled for a number of longer journeys, such as a trip from Fort Lauderdale to Singapore, which will travel to places like Bridgetown, Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Male and Colombo.

Food, cuisine and dining
Whatever your dining preferences, there's sure to be something to satiate your hunger on the Quest. There is a variety of restaurants, as well as other places to pick up a quick snack or a warm drink. Wherever you choose to dine, you can rest assured you'll receive some of the best service you've ever had.
The Colonnade offers breakfast and lunch buffets, with a huge range of delicious options to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available and at dinner time, table-side service is offered.
For the most casual dining venue, head to the Patio Grill, which is located next to the swimming pool. It's open for lunch and dinner and serves up some delicious burgers and fresh pizza, as well as lighter options like salads and sandwiches.
Restaurant 2 is a popular place to eat and offers a fabulous tasting menu for tapas-style dining. There's no extra fee to eat in this location, but reservations are required.
Of course, there's also The Restaurant - the main dining room, which serves three meals a day in a very traditional cruise atmosphere.
Complimentary wine is served with lunch and dinner, although guests who prefer something a bit more special can purchase finer vintages.
Hot drinks, pastries and snacks can be obtained from Seabourn Square or the Observation Bar throughout the day - the latter also hosts afternoon tea. Meanwhile, room service is available 24 hours a day.
On-board entertainment and activities
A cruise on the Sojourn is all about relaxation and the vessel has been carefully designed to ensure that every guest can find a comfortable place to unwind - such as The Sun Terrace, The Retreat and Seabourn Square.
The enrichment programme covers a variety of topics, from the history and sights to see at ports of call, to cookery, wine tasting and technology.
Traditional cruise activities are also offered - such as bingo and shuffleboard, while cabaret, comedy and other productions are offered nightly in the Grand Salon. Alternatively, why not head to one of the lounges for a tasty cocktail, live music and some friendly conversation? You can even dance the night away in The Club.
Spas and fitness facilities
For passengers who enjoy getting their stress out with some exercise, the Fitness Centre is perfect. It's equipped with high-tech machines, many of which have personal television screens to keep you entertained during your workout.
There's a fitness studio for aerobics and yoga sessions, while personal training and consultations can also be provided.
Alternatively, why not unwind with a trip to the Spa at Seabourn? This soothing setting has treatment rooms for massages and body wraps, as well as a thermal suite and a beauty salon for a bit of indulgence.
Cabins
With more than 200 rooms to choose from on the Quest, passengers are sure to find accommodation that suits their specific requirements - whether they're seeking luxury cruise deals or don't mind investing a bit more in a really fine holiday.
There are 13 different price categories, with all the rooms being suites - meaning they have separate bedroom and sitting areas. The standard rooms are around 300 square feet, making them nearly double the industry standard. They also all have ocean views, while 90 per cent of them have private balconies.
The rooms are gorgeously decorated in soothing earthy tones and with light coloured wood furniture. Bathrooms are clad in stylish stone and fresh flowers are provided in the bedroom for a truly welcoming touch.
All rooms are equipped with a flat screen television and a DVD player, an iPod dock and Bose speakers. Balconies are furnished with dark wicker sun loungers and blackout curtains will ensure that you can enjoy a long lie-in if you wish.
