we took 2 rooms in the Seabourn Pride over Xmas Singapore--Hong Kong. Although other ships in the Seabourn line are known to be great, I absolutely do not recommend this ship. It was very run down and in fact the pool was out of service the entire voyage. There were out of order signs on the public restrooms on/off during the voyage. The main dining area is very depressing. The service is very crude; the staff have obviously not been well trained. Aside from the band and singers, the entertainment is nil. I don't think this applies to their other ships, but the Seabourn was anything but elegant. It is in serious need of an overhaul.
Quality of Food1
The food was ok in the main dining room but in the breakfast and lunch area was really very bad. The service was terrible and very chaotic and unorganized and the food displays were unattractive and unappealing and quite literally, tasteless.
Entertainment1
The band and singers excellent and some of the skits by the Cruise Director were very good. Other than that the entertainment was not good.
Shore Excursions1
I did not take many shore excursions but do not feel the ones that I took were well organized.
Staff1
Some of the servers were really quite nice but most had not a clue what they were doing.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities1
Actually there were none or very limited so at-sea days were sort of non-eventful
Cabins2
Cabins were good size and comfortable. The towels were old and rough and worn.
