The sky may have been over-cast on our arrival to the ship but this did not deter from our favourable first impression and the warm welcome we received from the staff.
Seabourn have always been a by-word for excellent service but the size of the ships and lack of balcony suites have often deterred potential cruisers.
This is no longer the case; there are spacious suites with walk-in wardrobes, bathrooms with double washbasins, separate shower and bath and well proportioned balconies complete with lounger, tables and chairs.
This ship is all inclusive with nice touches whereby the refrigerator in your cabin is well stocked with beers, water and soft drinks plus two bottles of spirits in the bar and a bottle of champagne awaiting your arrival in the cabin.
The bathroom has Moulton Brown toiletries but your cabin steward also brings a selection of soaps for you to choose from.
Your fine dining choices which include in-suite service, gourmet dining in the restaurant or if you prefer The Colonade which is an intimate eatery with open kitchen which caters for breakfast, lunch and themed dinners. For casual dining there is the Patio Grill which is by the pool and which caters for breakfast and lunch.
This ship caters for 450 guest with a crew of 330 so you have very attentive and friendly service with the impression that nothing is too much trouble.
There are two spacious pool areas with plenty of loungers for you to relax and be waited upon this is truly cruising as it should be !
