We recently sailed with saga and will never sail with them again. The staff in the dining area are untrained, rude and uncaring. The shows are terrible to such a degree that around 25% of the audiance each show would walk out, if they were still awake. The lectures were same old, same old and again many of us complained bitterly, but to no avail. The E D was funny and officialy tried to defend the company, but off the record seemed to agree with us , by the comments he made and his hand actions. Travel to board was at best ok, with other cruisers and us sharing transport, which we do not mind ,but we were told we had the taxi to ourselves. Standard of food and quantitys were the worst i have ever known at sea. Many times the wrong dishes were brought to us and other cruisers. If people think all of this is good then goodness knows what they normally eat, but i do feel sorry for them. Cabin was so small ans again the worst i have seen or been in, but the price was the same as a suite on many liners. There were very few activities on board , which even at my age of 58 , i felt was terrible. Quizes were the staple diet each day , but even these only lasted 30-35 mins a day, as staff seemed to want to get it all over with. wE SPOKE TO MANY OTHER PASSENGERS WHILST ON THIS CRUISE WHO SAID THEY WERE LOYAL SAGA CUSTOMERS BUT HAD NOTICED A BIG DROP IN STANDARDS AND WOULD NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.WE WERE ON QUEST FOR ADVENTURE BUT THEY WERE SAYING AMONGST ALL OF THEM THAT ALL SAGA LINERS WERE DROPPING IN STANDARDS. The whole experiance was bad and especially the way we were all treated with no consideration for many peoples ages and mobility.
