My wife & I brother & sister in law took this cruise on Mexican Riviera. We really enjoyed the cruise, the weather was excellent, cabin fine, food very good, everything in fact was very good except for a couple of annoying things from our point of view.We lugged tuxedos and others kilts all the way from UK to look smart on formal nights only to find majority of passengers did;nt bother.Although signs were up at restraunts adhering to dress code it was not acted upon.We sat next to captains table and even guests at his table only had shirt & tie setting a bad example. If this is normal for RC I wish someone had told us.The other issue I had was kids in the jacuzzi, you just couldnt get near it for them.On the plus side we usually cruise with Princess but their staff should take a lesson from the staff on Vision who were the friendliest we;ve ever had.Overall we had a great time& would recommend it to anyone.Would just like to add one more thing for anyone paying $20 per person to fastrack bags to airport,we done this and 1 case is lost, home now & still don;t have it,airline says never received from RC.

Hi There I went on the Independence Of The Seas a taster to Cork Ireland and it was amazing... and it was totally difference experience, the staffg food and service was amazing... though even the staff advised when they reach their peek they are transfered to the newiest of the fleet of ships... Mind I did put the coffee table in the wardrobe as trip over it once and went flying he he, there was a lot of children on the ship at the time but I think there was more facilities on board this latest ship for them to do and keep them out of site he he... The swimming pool and jacuzzi was no issue a few people in them and was nice as I managed to chat to other passengers about their experiences also, but we agreed the comedian was dire too, but love the theatre performance's were amazing... But I have learnt for next time to book a balcolny for my next med cruise on this very ship in May 2009, as the internal cabin with no win dow is ok for 4 days but not for a fortnight, it was bit like a furnished lift and I wanted to get off at the next floor.... (tip though if you do have a cabin turn on the tv cctv channel as that acts as a window out on the ocean).... Over all it was an amazing trip and loved every minute of it, just felt like a second home with great food laughs and experiences.... I hate flying so its perfect for me... I hope this review helps.... Try it next time, you will be spoilt and wanting more... mark x
