This was our first cruise with Royal Caribean and one that we were looking forward to as the itinerary looked ideal. Overall the cruise was enjoyable but there was difficulty in the mornings trying to obtain a seat for breakfast in the buffet restaurant, which was always crowded . On occasions we resorted to the main dining room, along with others, whereby we had quite a considerable wait. The dining room staff were understanding and no doubt doing their level best under the circumstances with the extra influx.
We had taken 2nd. sitting for dining and expected that the main Theatre show would be after this but mostly it was before the sitting.
There were on board excursions but we tended to go our own way as it was simple to travel in Japan. South Korea was somewhat different and the onboard organised trips would have been preferable.
The entertainment in the lounges are bars was excellent considering that they had to cater for all nationalities.
The published informal evenings never took place which niggled me having made the effort to pack the extra clothes.
Would we travel with them again? probably if they could sort out my little complaints.
