Cruised on the OASIS in Febuary with friends and had an Awsome Vacation we loved The Shows , The food was excellent as I have always found on the Royal Carribean Ships, The Crew were so helpfull.
we boarded the ship within 4hrs I Was taken ILL WITH THE NORWALK VIRUS ,This VIRUS is NOT FOOD RELATED,It is a Viral
infection that I had the bad fortune of getting in Florida ,The Medical Staff were HANDS ON, I was in isolation for 2 days,my Husband says it was the best 2 days of his vacation,allowed out of isolation when we got to our first port of call after a 100percent check over, the ALL CLEAR, now was the time to to make up for what I had missed.
AND GUESS WHAT ,when we arrived home a Letter was waiting for us with a Future Cruise Voucher for a nice amount to put towards our next cruise for both my Husband and I, This was a suprise out of the blue as it was no fault what so ever on the Royal Carribean, THATS SEVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE, AND NO MEDICAL BILL, We will Cruise with them again.

Well.....you were very lucky to get that and I am very happy you did to. Personally have never heard of that before and I am sure it will of done RCI some good with the publicity ratings after that. We have sailed RCI 3 times now and fortunatly/luckily we have never had any medical problems to date..........but have heard nightmare stories of people's bills etc...so good for you. Oasis is a ship we would be happy to sail on again...despite her size,we had a fabulous holiday ....all 10 of us with a wedding and engagement too........
