is there really a ship to top the Oasis of The seas?? I really think it'll be impossible to find if there is. Wot a fantastic time we had on this gorgous ship- RCI have thought of everything and not an area of space wasted on the ship. Service as good as ever with RCI, entertainment was varied as to what you wanted, there was something for everybody..we were 2nd sitting in the evenings for dinner, we felt that the food repeated itself slightly by midweek. Windjammer was spot on for breakfast- however it was very busy alot of the time and we had to hang about for a table most days. Great snacks- tea cofee and soft drinks on tap all day and night if required. Including herbal teas and hot chocolate. We did find the drinks expensive- especially compared to Ventura- but then hey we were on a class ship- not a tin pot one! Cant wait to book Allure of the Seas as soon as this bar bill is out of the way...i would recommend anybody to sail on this beauty.

I agree, the Oasis of the Seas looks unimaginabley amazing lol (not that I've been on it, just I really really want to one day lol) :) I've got a question if you don't mind me asking, how long did you go for and how much did it cost? Lol I want to see how much it would cost depending on how long I went for. Also, do you happen to know how much it is for a Oasis World Cruise?? I would love to go on it one day. :)

Save hard and i'm sure one day that you will sail on the beautiful Oasis of The Seas. It was an expensive holiday- however we only spent 1 week on her, the 1st week was spent in Florida. The total cost was £3600, this included a balcony cabin. The first 2 days were spent at sea before arriving at ST.Thomas, then onto St.Maartan, and after another day at sea we arrived in the Bahamas. Allow for a rather large drinks bill- if you like a tipple during the day and the evening, as the prices are rather steep here and there is alos a service charge on top of 15%. But i still wouldnt have missed this cruise for the world. Any other questions just you fire ahead??!!! Have a nice day.

Question by diack, glasgow (04 Apr 10 00:45) about a COMMENT by hammond (30 Mar 10 18:45)
yes i like to swim and some of the pools are kind of short
Answer by hammond, wollaton (05 Apr 10 12:43) to a QUESTION by diack (04 Apr 10 00:45)
unfortunatley, i dont think you would get much chance to actually swim. Many pools but either kiddies are in them or adults just relaxing. But honestly i highly recommend this cruise ship. We had a table for 2 in the restaurant in the evenings, but sat quite near a scottish couple from Edinburgh and they were lovely! Lots and lots to do onboard- massive gym, jogging track - which is kept strictly for joggers or walkers. You can certainly keep very fit aboard!

Bit harsh on Ventura?
Comment by hammond, NOTTM (19 Mar 10 17:06) about a COMMENT by jones (17 Mar 10 06:28)
sorry but its true- i have to be harsh, because the ventura is a shambles next to the Oasis and the rci fleet.
