This was our first cruise as a family. My husband and I cruised on our honeymoon some 11 years ago and at the time I would never have considered taking children. Infact I don't recall seeing any! Cruising has come a long way since and on the recommendation of my parents, who are addicted to cruising, we decided to book. The whole experience was fantastic. The ship, the food, the staff, the entertainment was amazing. We have two girls 5yrs and 7yrs and my biggest fear was it not being suitable for them. I really had no reason to worry, they had a fantastic time and the staff made a real fuss of them. I had reservations about taking the children into the formal dinning room, however we ended up there every night, the childrens thoroughly enjoying the dressing up experience. We were on the cruise ship for Halloween and a friend has recommended I take costumes. Thank god I did, as the staff put on superb entertainment. Lots of guests dressed up, and the children did trick and treating around the ship with LOTS of sweet being handed out. The children then went back to the club where there was a fancy dress competition. I am proud to say both my daughters won, not that I am biast!! I am now saving for the next one!!

| Quality of Food | |
| We used the buffet for breakfast and dinner and the formal dinning room for tea | | Entertainment | |
| There was nothing that wasn't enjoyable | | Shore Excursions | |
| Most of the excursions were not suitable for our children due to their young age, however we were happy to get off the boat and explore ourselves | | Staff | |
| The waiter in the formal dinning room was fantastic, especially with the children. Nothing was too much!! | | Children's Facilities | |
| Childrens facilities were really good. Although my children should have gone into different clubs due to their age the staff allowed them to both attend the younger ones club. The children felt more confident being together | | Onboard Activities | |
| We didn't really attend many activiites | | Cabins | |
| Cabin was superb, it was worth upgrading to get the balcony. | | Overall Rating | |
