Having not been on a cruise before we were not sure what to expect, but our expectations could not be higher. From the moment we boarded the ship we were all well looked after. The food was very well presented in both The King Lear and the Windjammer. We were looked after so well by our waiters Julianna and assistant waiter Gerardo, they were both always pleased to see us and could not do enough to make our grandchildren happy, even bringing food that they chose and enjoyed. Our cabins were cleaned and tidied every day by Joseph who always had a cheary smile, and leaving the most unusual shaped towels. We enjoyed all the excursions as well, although we would have liked to spend a little longer in Maderia. My grandson who is twelve had the time of his life on the Flo-rider, and my youngest grandson who is seven enjoyed the rock climbing actually reaching the top and ringing the bell. Both the shows were first class to, although it did get quite busy, so had to go to our seats a half an hour earlier. Forgot to mention the gym on board which was enjoyed by our daughter every day. All I can say is we cant wait to go on another one next year.

Yes I think you will find the weather will be fine, we only ever really wore tee shirts, even on rainy days it wasnt really cold and that was October
