The service from the staff/crew, the food, the cleanliness of the ship, the itinerary, the entertainment were all fantastic but, for us, the ship was a bit too big and, in places, a bit too noisy eg the music around the swimming pool area and in the Windjammer Restaurant. There was a lack of quiet lounge areas and the library was small. Despite these very few slight annoyances we would book again, especially if we were taking all of the family/grandchildren. The children's facilites and clubs looked fantastic, there were large tables in the restaurants that could seat 10 people and the baby-sitting services sounded second to none.
Quality of Food5
We mostly ate in the restaurants where you are served, rather than in self-service. The salads and fresh fruits selection were a healthy options, to avoid piling on the pounds.
Entertainment4
All of the shows were very good, especially the ice shows
Shore Excursions4
Rome. We went on the the private train, organised through the ship.
Staff5
Our stateroom steward, Jo. He was first class, and had only just joined the ship - his first cruise ever. He folded the towels every evening into some fantastic animal shapes
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities4
A wonderful choice
Cabins4
Comfortable, spacious and clean. The shower was great.
