My wife and I and our daughter, son in law and their three teenage children sailed on THe Independence of the seas for four nights on August 28 to Cobh in Ireland. Check in was quick and easy and we were soon on board enjoying this lovely ship.We had a balcony stateroom on deck 7 and we found it spotlessly clean and tidy. The room steward was very friendly and obliging.
We had breakfast and lunch in the windjammer and we would wait on the stairs with the head waiter who soon found us a table. The food was well cooked well presented and plentiful. For the evening meal we were in Macbeth restaurant on the 8.30 sitting which suited us fine. The food here was excellent and the waiters were also excellent. After the meal was over they show the children tricks and puzzles which were amazing.
As for the entertainment what can I say.You would pay a fortune to see these shows in the Wesd End. Really Proffesional.
This was our third cruise on the Indie and it will not be our last. Our 17 year old grandson loved it so much that when it was time to leave he said he was going to find a cupboard and hide so that he could sail again
Check out was as smooth as check in. Roll on next cruise on the Independence of the Seas.

An excellent review, we have cruised previously on this ship also the FOS, We are joining the ship on Saturay 11 Sept and really looking forward to another RCL cruise, have cruised at least 15 times previously, an a range of their ships. There have recently been some bad reports, especially about too many children, well that is what you get on school holiday cruises, you have given a fair and honest review and agree with all you say
