I have to disagree. We were on the same cruise and had a fantastic time. The food in the main dining area was superb with a choice of menu. The Windjammer was exellent with a huge variety of food, something for everyone.We never had any bother finding a table. There was plenty of sun loungers , you only had to ask. We thought the free icecream for everyone around the pool area was a bonus, especially if you have kids. The shows in the Alambrah theatre were very good , a differant show every evening and the ice skating shows were brilliant. The parades through the Mall were terrific , great fun for young and old.Drinks were about the same as you would pay at home.There was another smoking bar besides the Lambrynth , you could smoke in the Connoisseur club with plush surroundings and comfortable seating. There were queues for the flowrider , but you only had to queue for a short time. We didnt see any queues for the rock climbing wall.There were clubs for kids of all ages. We had such a good time that we have already booked to go on the same ship next year around the Italian Med. Yes I think RCI have got it right !

Sorry cannot agree if you had read the brochure you would know - IOS is the bigest cruise ship afloat - it carries over 3500 passengers - costs are always higher during school holidays. Safety considerations mean only one person at a time on the flowrider but never a problem when we wanted to use either the flowrider or the wall. We were on the same cruise but never had a problem with seating in the Windjammer. 750ml can of Fosters was $ 8.00 = almost one and half pints for £4 at the rate we got from RCCL but I understand draft was more expensive. In our experience you get what you pay for and if you read up on the ship beforehand there should be no surprises

Please do not judge all cruises by your experience I have just returned from IOS having been a cruise nut for years, she has been built to please everyone and has ended up pleasing only a few. American Ship trying to serve an English breakfast does not work anymore than us trying to celebrate thanks giving. RCL have already started to change things no 15% on drinks. I am sure that next session it will be a lot better and get it right for the market. Try The Brilliance or Legend of the seas smaller but the names speak for themselves.

well im very sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise but we were on the same cruise and we had a fabulous experience i do have to say there plenty of sunloungers stacked up on the above deck all you had to do was asked one of the staff members who were more than happy to supply one. It was my first cruise and i will be returning in the ship in 2011 and cant wait . Im sorry it wasnt upto your expectations but we cant please all the people all the time . Dont let it put you off cruising maybe try someone else.

Don't let Royal Caribbean put you off cruising! You should give P&O a go on one of the smaller ships such as Aurora or Oriana.
