One can't fault the ship or the speedy check-in at Malaga. We had over-nighted at Malaga as part of our Gandia Tours package, that in itself took away any worry about joining the ship in time fro the Costa Blanca. Boarded at 11am, explolred the ship and had lunch at the Windjammer restaurant - by which time our cabin was available and our luggage in the room. The room was spotless on arrival making one feel as if we were the first passengers ever to use it. The cabin steward kept it that way throughout the cruise. Dining in the evening was superb though at time I found the 1 act show got a bit boring - I would have prefered more variety. Only critismn was that i found the shore excursions far too pricey (typically $50 for a 3 hour coach trip) ($150 for a behind the scenes tour of the ship) and was disappointed at the very early departure from the ports of call - 3.30 pm at Madiera for instance. Would I cruise Royal Caribean again yes but i'd do my homework on shore excursions.

Thanks for the review, which I did find interesting. I have Googled Gandia Tours and bookmarked them for future reference. No yawn from me (some people's unnecessary (and unwarranted) rudeness never ceases to amaze me!).
