First cruise for my family on Brilliance of the Seas. The best tip I can give anyone is to do your research as it saved us a lot of money for minimum effort. All tours went to plan with our favourite being Pompei (but it is a must to book a guided tour). Rome was scorchio ! and impossible to do everything you want in the time given but it gives you a taster. The cruise was the last of the school hols hence the abundence of little darlings taking over the swimming pool area with little or no supervision by parents. This was the only complaint I had. The food was excellent and our inside cabin on deck 2 was sought after by those on higher decks as it was quiet with little/no movement. The cruise can be as cheap or as expensive as you want to make it. Saving hard now for our next one.
Quality of Food4
We ate in the Windjammer for breakfast and snacks and the Minstrel for evening meals. The sandwiches in the Spa pool area were delicious also the Seaview cafe where you can order pizza, pasta and panini's.
Entertainment4
We enjoyed all the shows especially the Tango dancers
Shore Excursionsn/a
We organised our own excursions with the best Pompei and the least favourite Cannes.
Staff4
Kadi out stateroom attendant although it was a challenge to leave the room without him appearing from out of nowhere
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities4
Often too many to make a choice from. My grandson 14yrs got plenty of use from the table tennis.
Cabins3
The cabin was more spacious than expected
