Cruise Ship:
Adventure of the Seas

Having never been to the Caribbean before, but having always wanted to go, we were struggling to decide which island to stay on. In a sudden 'eureka' moment, we realised that the answer was a cruise so we could take in not one, but 6 of the islands. This turned out to be the perfect plan and, even better, we were luxuriously escorted between the islands by the incredible Adventure of the Seas.

We flew to Miami and then to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where we boarded the ship. I cannot imagine how anyone could not be impressed by this incredible ship. She is big, beautiful, comfortable and fun. It struck us within minutes how incredibly well-trained and devoted every single member of staff were. We didn't met one who didn't go out of their way to look after us and make sure that we had everything we needed. Our stateroom attendant was amazing and took care of our every need. He made us smile every evening with the great display of towel origami.

The atmosphere on board was always fun, the ice skating shows were amazing and there was only one show which we didn't really enjoy.

We were slightly sceptical about choosing to dine with others but we needn't have worried. We were accompanied each night by two amazing couples, one american and the other british. We are now very good friends with them both, so a truly unexpected bonus for us. As a result of this cruise we now feel very loyal to RCI; however we did take a cruise since with Princess, simply because it suited our dates. We took both sets of our parents and our 1 year old daughter. Everyone enjoyed it but, for me, the ship did not have the 'wow' factor which blew us away when we boarded A of the S and which we'll have again next month when we all board Independence of the Seas next month.

An amazing cruise and a perfect way to take in the gorgeous caribbean islands.
