Our first Regent cruise was absolutely wonderful, utterly luxurious, and lived up to all promises. Our cabin , a standard outside, was huge, gracious in style and very comfortable, with an enormous dressing room and huge marble bathroom with both tub and shower cubicle. The newly refurbished ship was elegant and tasteful with faultless, friendly service and wonderful fine dining. We have never had such a high standard of room service, always beautifully presented, on a fully laid table. Open bars were not abused, with no drunken passengers, and served quality wines, champagne and terrific cocktails , and the recommended complimentary dinner wines were faultlessly chosen to complement the delightful menus presented daily. Included, well organised, excursions were varied and offered insight into the ports and countries visited. Regent clearly offer a standard that other cruise lines can only aspire to, and will certainly be getting our hard earned money on future cruises.
