We love Regent. Sadly the service is in decline. Only in parts of the ship but it is not as good as it used to be. The company need to address these issues post haste because other cruise lines are starting to catch up and present serious competition at lower costs. The entertainment was greatly improved from previous cruises although there were areas that need addressing. All in all a good cruise but take note Regent - your standards are starting to slip.
Quality of Food4
As always the silver service restaurant was excellent
Entertainment3
Much improved.
Shore Excursions2
Regent are changing the philosophy with shore excursions and about time. Some of the costs for excursions on this cruise were outrageous.
Staff3
Staff in Compass Rose maintained the standards as did the Cabin stewards. There are problems elsewhere though.
